The Huston Lodge is located about 15 miles east of the town of Walden, Co. in the heart of the North Park valley of north-central Colorado. With nearly 75,000 acres of ranch property in the North Park valley, Spur Outfitters operates one of the largest big game hunting operations in that area. The views from this lodge are breathtaking, with the Never Summer range of mountains to the east and the Zirkel range of mountains to the west.

Wildlife abounds in the North Park area of Colorado. Elk, mule deer, antelope, moose, black bears, mountain lions, and a wide variety of birds of prey all make their homes in this  area of northern Colorado. The North Park region of Colorado is considered the “ Moose viewing Capital of Colorado”, with one of the states’ largest populations of Shiras moose. Activities include hunting, fishing, hiking, photography, snowmobiling, moose an interpretive center, a museum, and more.
